Start by prepping the natural nail by cleaning and filing it. Apply a base coat for better adhesion. Place a nail form if you want extensions longer than your natural length. Apply a small amount of gel at the center of the nail and gently spread it towards the edges, creating a slight curve for added strength. Use a flat brush for this step. Cure under a UV or LED lamp. File and shape the nail to the desired form, then apply a top coat for a glossy finish.

Begin by lightly filing the nail's surface to remove the top coat. Then, soak a cotton pad in acetone, place it on the nail, and wrap each finger in aluminum foil. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes. Remove the foil and cotton, then use a pusher to gently remove softened gel residue. Finally, buff the nail for a smooth finish and apply cuticle oil for hydration.

Here are some extra tips:
Use a flat brush to smooth the gel: After applying the gel, use a brush slightly dampened with cleaner to smooth the surface. This helps eliminate air bubbles and achieve a more even finish before curing.

Flip the hand for a natural curve: Once the gel is applied, ask the client to flip their hand, palm up, for a few seconds before curing. Gravity will help the gel form a natural apex, reinforcing the nail without adding extra gel.

Use a fine brush for cuticle areas: To avoid excess gel near the cuticles, use a small fine brush to work around the edges. This ensures a clean finish and prevents gel from touching the skin, which could cause lifting.
